GLOBALG.A.P. is a private organization which establishes voluntary standards for the certification of agricultural products worldwide. The GLOBALG.A.P. standard was developed to assure producers, suppliers, and buyers that food production at the farm and facility level meets internationally-recognized best practices.

GLOBALG.A.P. works to support farmers by connecting them to markets where they can sell their safely and sustainably produced agricultural products by developing and implementing farm assurance systems that are based on facts and recognized across the supply chain.

GLOBALG.A.P. is responsible for over 200,000 certified producers, 2,000 trained inspectors and auditors, certifying more than 700 different agricultural products.
