Hansecontrol fully becomes QIMA

Hansecontrol Prüfinstitut and Hansecontrol Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbh have joined the QIMA group in early 2021, and after a period of integration, in the summer of 2022 we started showing a unique face to the world under the QIMA brand.

Since April 2023, the German legal entities of Hansecontrol Prüfinstitut GmbH and Hansecontrol Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbH have been renamed to QIMA Testing (Germany) GmbH and QIMA Certification (Germany) GmbH respectively. All official documents including accreditations, terms and conditions, payment methods and ordering procedures have been updated accordingly.

Looking into the future

With 40 years of experience in the testing industry, Hansecontrol had been offering manufacturers, retailers and importers a comprehensive range of accredited testing services ranging from product development and protection through to risk management. After joining the QIMA group, Hansecontrol was able to add on QIMA’s quality solution and expanded the group’s testing scope to cover the European region and broader product categories such as e-bikes, electrical toys, furniture, home appliances, lighting & luminaires and more.
