SafeTextile/SafeTextile+ Certification

QIMA, through Hansecontrol, offers certification under our SafeTextile/SafeTextile+ program to help textile suppliers and retailers improve their production and chemical management on a step-by-step basis.

SafeTextile/SafeTextile+ Certification

Regulatory requirements on the use of chemicals in the textile industry are becoming ever-stricter, with safety and environmental sustainability concerns thrust into spotlight. Meanwhile, for consumers, assurance that textiles and apparel are safe and free of hazardous chemicals is among the key factors in the decision to buy.

The SafeTextile/SafeTextile+ program was designed by QIMA-Hansecontrol chemical management specialists to help textile suppliers, brands and retailers improve chemical management in their supply chain and implement step-by-step corrective action in their production practices.

In addition to providing your consumers with assurance that your textiles are safe and sustainable, the SafeTextile/SafeTextile+ program directly contributes to better chemical management knowledge and skills in the textile and apparel industry, through targeted workshops and supplier training.
