With over 1000 audits under his belt, covering various sectors like agriculture, meat, dairy, and more, Alex brings deep expertise in food safety management systems and certifications, especially GFSI standards like BRC, SQF, and FSSC22000. As the founder and CEO of Navigate Food Safety Solutions and Navigate Food Safety Training, Alex dedicates his time to crafting practical training content and providing hands-on food safety coaching. Known for his approachable style and knack for simplifying complexities, Alex is committed to making a difference at the ground level of food production.

Tammie Van Buren
Compliance Manager, SQFI at FMI

More than 25 years of experience in Quality Control and 10 years in the food industry as an SQF Practitioner responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining SQF Systems at various certified sites such as TreeHouse Foods and D&W Fine Pack. Currently, the SQF Compliance Manager is overseeing the management and evolution of SQFI’s Compliance and Integrity Program (CIP) using data and statistics. Holds a Masters in Science and Engineering Technology as well as a Bachelors in Mathematics.

Rodolfo Tamez
Technical Manager·QIMA WQS

A seasoned auditor with extensive experience evaluating quality and food safety systems across diverse sectors. A graduate of "Universidad de Monterrey" with a Bachelor degree in Food Science, Rodolfo conducts audits through different schemes such as BRCGS Food, BRCGS Packaging, BRCGS S&D, SQFI and FSSC 22000. For more than 15 years, he has been involved not only in auditing activities, also his contributions include the participation in training programs including the development of competencies and skills for new auditors and also as a certified ATP for several BRCGS Standards. His expertise is an integral part of the QIMA WQS team, where he continues to make a significant impact in food safety and quality assurance.
