Inspection instructions and requirements
Do not ship any products until the client confirms their approval.
The inspector requires a suitable indoor workspace. This includes a table, adequate lighting, and a working Wi-Fi connection.
The cartons should be placed in one area, with all the products accessible for inspection.
The inspector may need help from your staff to access cartons/products prior to their inspection. Failure to help will be reported to your client.
If conveyors, trolleys, or forklifts are required to access the products, they must be available before the inspection.
Make sure any testing equipment is ready & available before inspector’s arrival. Depending on the product, this may include:
Scales to weigh products and/or cartons
Electrical testing machines (if applicable)
Metal detection machines (if applicable)
Or any other required testing equipment
Please inform QIMA, at least 48 hours prior to the inspection, if any machinery or equipment will not be available for the inspection. This will be reported to your client.
Please provide at least one dedicated worker to support the inspector during the complete inspection process, to help on the following tasks: moving the cartons and products, unpacking and repacking of the products, etc.
